  2. Open the Windows Explorer Web Browser by pressing the Windows + E keys, and head over to the C drive to access the Local App Data. 
  3. Click on the Intuit tab and find the QBPOS Shell Folder with the .exe extension to right-click on it and select Rename to add OLD at the end of the file name, followed by hitting Enter.
